Love day!

In honor of love day,
lunch was P&J hearts, of course!
Afternoon snack in our red entire followed by our red wagon ride to the park. These two deep in conversation about how much they love their mama!
Eat your heart out girls! I'm mama's boy for this Valentines Day!

An evening toast to our papa that we missed so much on love day.

I thought about this cute boy while he was at work on love day!
Happy Valentines Day to the loves of my life!

Happy (early) Heart day!

Our Valentine celebration. . . a day early!
My little baker in training

Making Daddy heart shaped sugar cookies with frosting

Carter would rather play with the rolling pin then touch the dough

He cried when we ran out of dough to cut

Daddy made mommy dinner! Lobster anyone? The man knows how to do it right! Love him!

Boys frosting their own cookies

These boys have my heart!

This is what you call trouble. . .

Trying to leave the house and I ran upstairs to grab something, 30 seconds by themselves 217 wipes out of the box, 18 diapers all over the place, 1 pair of pants missing, 1 shirt off and 2 pairs of socks and shoes off. And I wonder why I have trouble leaving the house sometimes.

Helping mama cook breakfast, pulled down the tub of flour and stole the cord to the griddle. His face says it all. . . what mama, what did I do? Opps ya got caught!

An all time favorite around here. Folded fresh clean laundry in the bin ready to be . . . destroyed! Never fails. It's like the basket calls to them, "come on dump me out, your mama won't mind even though she just spent 20 minutes folding it all."

This guy. . .

Elmo is the coolest thing to two little men in this house. I honestly believe that his voice hypnotizes small children under the age of five. Any how, Carter, Nolan and I are always scoping out youtube for his newest greatest hits and we came across our new favorite. Seriously can't get enough of it!

We heart sunshine!

Sunshine makes us happy! Just an ordinary day playing in the backyard but when the sun is out it kinda makes you smile!

Typical evening at the Tharaldson's

We got the moves like Jagger, only better because check out those diaper bums. Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, shake, do the wiggle shake. Our boys love to dance! Dance party every evening in this house!

Taking in nature

Headed out for a walk the other day, we have had a couple days with a break from rain. Mr. Carter loves to get out and explore. He runs up ahead then when we catch up he'll run the other way. I had the other two nuggets (our Nolan and Raleigh that I watch) in the stroller fast asleep.

A writer for Maple Valley web page was on the trail checking out the storm damage and stopped us to take a few pics of our fam. I think we may be on a web page somewhere. And we were not exactly camera ready when headed out on our adventure, oh well.

Shopping & Dinner

Taking in the lovely music played by the piano man at Nordstrom last Saturday. Carter danced the first ten minutes and then decided to relax right in the middle of the walkway.

Later on we meet up with Grandpa to have dinner. Nolan is obsessed with silverware especially forks. Everything must be picked up with silverware, even blueberries (which can take awhile). Completly opposite of his brother who believes silverware is evil and with have nothing to do with it.

We had a first at dinner that night. I have never had to leave a place because my children were acting up, I came pretty close this night. I have taken my kiddos everywhere since birth, thinking it will help them to be more well rounded and flexible in all situations. Apparently Carter didn't get that memo. His new word lately has been "no", he was screaming "no" and causing quite the scene. I had to take him into the lobby a few times. Turns out the boy was just starving because once dinner came he didn't make a peep and he hammered down his food.

And God bless grandparents who are so patient and understanding (probably because they have been there done that). My dad said if anyone looked our way during Carter's meltdown he would give them a dirty look!
