Twins turn 2!!!

We went to Cash & Presley's 2nd birthday today in Ellensburg. I can't believe they are two already, I feel like we were just at their first birthday party. Katie and Travis are about to have their third on May 8. They aren't finding out the sex, they already have one of each so I think they are prepared. I didn't take a lot of pics today, but here's a few.

Little bean

Here's Carter's new little sibling! I have been feeling okay, still been puking this last week but I seem to be feeling better these last couple days. We find out the sex March 30th. I can't wait. Katie did the pencil test today and it says girl, so we'll see.

Oh by the way. . . We're pregnant!

So excited to finally share the news with everyone. I hate keeping secrets but we wanted to make it to our first appointment before we spread the word. I am 12 weeks along and can't wait to be out of the first trimester. Not a fan of the pukie stage. But hopefully just like with Carter as soon as week 12 was over, I was good as gold. The baby is due September 9th, but because Carter came out like a rocket ship two weeks early my doctor thought it might be safer to induce me at 38 weeks. So the baby will most likely be here around August 28th. That way we won't be delievering the new little one on the side of the freeway. I am so excited for Carter to be a big brother. I can't wait to see how he will interact with a new baby. I also can't imagine him not being my only baby.

Well just wanted to share the news. We have some ultrasound pictures I will try to post later. You can already see the head and the little arms and legs. Heartbeat was a strong 160 bpm, I heard the higher the heartbeat, maybe a girl!

Happy Heart Day!

Well we had a Happy Heart Day despite the bad news we received on Friday night. My Dad took my Mom into the emergency room on Friday night at about 5:30 because she was having bad stomach pain. We got a call around 9 o'clock telling us what was happening. They asked for us not to rush down there because they didn't know what was going on and how long all of the test were going to take. Well at about 3 o'clock in the morning she had her appendix taken out, which was a relief to know it was something they could treat right away. I guess our family is not meant to have an appendix, my brother, now mother and I all have had our appendix removed. However their surgeries were done in the US, mine however was in Mexico on my senior trip. Let me just say, I envy their stay compared to mine. I came home with my appendix in a Gerber baby food jar. Let's just be thankful I came home with all my other body parts as well!

So despite the medical emergency she is recovering slowly but surely. We are going to visit Grandma later on today. Saturday night we had plans to go to dinner at the Melting Pot for Valentine's Day. Grandpa and Grandma were supposed to babysit, so small change in plans. Carter bug went on Mommy and Daddy's date night with Katie and Travis. We was defiantly up past his bed time, but an angel as always. We are so blessed to have such a well behaved little man.

Great Uncle Gerry

My Uncle Gerry (My Dad's brother) has been in town for the last couple weeks because he is performing in the play South Pacific on Broadway. Which we saw (front row seats) and it was absolutely wonderful! So Gerry came over Monday night to meet Carter for the first time. I think they connected. Gerry did not leave his side and Carter seemed pretty excited about him also. Or it could have been the new absolutely adorable rain coat he got him. So cute! Today we are suppose to go have lunch with him before he leaves town.

Superbowl Sunday

My little ham. He is so well trained to smile at the camera. I just love it! This was Superbowl Sunday, which was quite relaxing. We ate some yummy food and relaxed, just the fam (Eric, Carter and I). Eric drank beer and talked about his "man rights" on Superbowl Sunday, claiming he had the authority to the TV all day long. Carter and I just laughed and relaxed anyway letting him think he was the almighty man in charge, when deep down we really all know the truth. . . HA,HA! Love you babe!

Brody's 1st birthday

We went last weekend to Brody's first birthday party in Sumner. We went to a bouncy house, which was quite the place. Everything was super sized and bouncy! I think once Carter can walk, I would love to go back again. It was quite challenging for me to get through the obstacles carrying Carter but we had fun!

Carter's second 1st birthday party

Since we have such a large family, we decided to have another birthday party for Carter after the holidays. Eric's entire family and their neighbors, Sue and Greg (which I consider family)came over. It was a lot of fun. Carter got some more cute outfits, my poor child is going to need a bigger closet!

Auntie Erin & the Martin's shower

Our good friends Scott and Krystal just had a baby girl so we headed to Brem to see her. We also visited with Auntie Erin and cousin Piper while we were in town.
