The heat wave is over?

Well now that the temperature has dropped 30 degrees, I can sit in my computer room again to update our summer adventures. These are from 4th of July weekend when it was just beginning to reach 90 degrees. I have a wonderful idea to bake over 75 cupcakes to make into an American flag. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of them all put together because the all of the frosting melted into a puddle of goo! Then to top off the day, I got deathly ill and we had to leave the party early. Eric was more concerned about us leaving the 75 cupcakes behind!

My 24 hour bug didn't stick around so we ventured out the next day. Carter has a new obsession with drinking from a water glass. So now every time I am drinking from a glass, he wants some!
