Pumkin Patch!

The most wonderful place on earth, PUMPKIN PATCH! I am obsessed with pumpkin patch pictures! I love it! I had the boys dressed in their matching outfits that I had planned for weeks. Ready to take the most amazing pictures ever and to our dismay it rained cats and dogs. I don't even think Nolan saw the light of day because he was tucked away in the carrier. It was still a good time. We had the whole family there to enjoy the festivities. And I managed to get some pictures afterwards back at Grandma and Grandpa Becker's house. Better luck next year with the weather!

















I love matching outfits! Get used to it boys, this will occur your entire life or at least as long as your mama can dress you!

Babies R US & Toys R US opened a joint store in Southcenter. We went down for the grand opening to fight the crowds. It's funny because when I went into Toy R US section for Carter, I experienced the same feelings I did as a kid walking in there. I was so excited and overwhelmed by all of the toys. Grandma Carol was with us and of course wanted to buy everything for the boys but we remained calm and didn't do to much damage. Lots of Christmas ideas though!

Carter's therapy center has an open play group on Thursdays so we have gone a couple times so Carter can explore. It is always fun to create a mess somewhere else besides home. He is also starting a class on Fridays next week, a Moving & Grooving class. Hopefully it will help to make those little legs a tad bit stronger so our little man will start walking. He is so close. I am praying he will walk within the next month or so. He has taken one step on his own. He likes to walk holding onto your fingers but the second you let go he looks at you like now what?

Buddy Walk

We are so very thankful for all of your love and support for the Buddy Walk. Carter received donations to support the Down Syndrome Community and we appreciate it so much! The walk was short and sweet but we had friends and family with us to make it memorable. Poor Carter bug had come down with a cold the night before so he was a little under the weather and slept through the whole thing. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your donations and support!

Zoo!

On Friday the boys and I took a spontaneous trip to the zoo. Of course getting us all ready in a hurry was interesting. I was trying to get the boys ready so I was changing Nolan's diaper and he literally peed across the room and all over me. As I am lifting him from the changing table he poops all over. I am like, are you kidding me right now. So three diapers later and a heck of a lot more laundry to do and me sweating, we were ready.
We met Haley and her three beautiful children (Sophia, Flynn, Adeline and one more on the way) there. Her kids are so stinkin cute and they have the greatest manners. They were so excited when Carter would say a word. And for some reason they call me "Alice", I love it! We saw all of the animals played at the playground and went on the merry go round. I can't wait for Carter to be able to walk. I did let him crawl around on the playground a bit. Before having two, I would have never let him do that but I guess you learn to let a couple things go. Believe me I washed his hands and body from head to toe with sanitizer! It was a great day!

Freemont Market

Last Sunday we went to the Freemont Market with some very lovely ladies. Carter and Nolan had an entourage of Grandmothers there, all willing to lend a helping hand. We did some shopping, I got a fabulous pair of cute cowboy boots. Then we ate lunch at the Red Door, yummy! We also went to the Chocolate Factory, which I highly recommend. Next time I will have to take Eric there and go on the official tour. On our way home we stopped off at Uncle Josh's un-child proofed home where Carter was finding interesting treasures and rode on his skateboard.

Playing at the park

Enjoying one of the last sunny days at the park near our house. Carter went down the slide that day and rubbed his head againist it giving him a giant rasberry in the middle of his forehead. Boys!
